(Starkville, Mississippi) — The Office of Communications & Marketing Team (OCM) continues to raise the bar
in higher education communications, earning nine prestigious awards at the 2025 College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) Conference.
The annual conference showcased the best in marketing, public relations, and media
production from colleges and universities across the state.
This year's conference theme emphasized innovation and authenticity in storytelling, with sessions ranging from diversity in writing to the impact of artificial intelligence in content creation. Notable presentations included “Writing in Color: A Conversation with Rick Bragg,” “Ode to St. Augustine: Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Kind. Belong,” and “Basics of Using AI in Writing and Editing” by Jan Risher. Additional workshops offered insights on using generative AI in design, leveraging influencer marketing, and connecting with audiences across generations.
