(Clarksdale, Mississippi) – Coahoma Community College (CCC) proudly announces its National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), taking place from April 21st - April 27th, 2024. As an institution committed to community empowerment and advocacy, CCC's mission is to foster a safe and inclusive environment where every individual's rights are respected and upheld.

This year’s theme—“How would you help? Options, services, and hope for crime survivors.”—is a call-to-action for us all to create safe environments for crime victims to share what happened to them. This theme underscores the collective commitment to promoting victims' rights, advocating for justice, and fostering healing and resilience.

Throughout the week, organizations, advocates, and individuals from all walks of life will join forces to raise awareness about the rights and needs of crime victims, as well as the resources and support available to them. From grassroots initiatives to national campaigns, NCVRW 2024 will shine a spotlight on the importance of standing in solidarity with survivors and working towards a more just and compassionate society.

Key highlights of National Crime Victims' Rights Week 2024 include:
