Coahoma Community College is proud to spotlight Kamesha Duke, a dedicated healthcare
professional with a recently earned Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a Master
of Nursing in Science, specializing in Nursing Education, both from Capella University.
With a solid foundation in healthcare, Duke holds certifications as a Sexual Assault
Nurse Examiner (SANE) and currently serves as the Campus Nurse at Coahoma Community
College.
Bringing nearly a decade of nursing experience to her role, Duke has an impressive background that includes serving as the Director of Nursing for an assisted living facility and as a Telemetry Charge Nurse. Her exceptional performance in these roles has been recognized with prestigious awards, including being named "Employee of the Year" in 2018 and receiving the "Well-Esteemed Service Award" from the Iota Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha in 2021.
In her current position at Coahoma Community College, Duke is committed to the care and education of students, staff, and employees. Her passion lies in promoting health and well-being within the campus community, leveraging her extensive knowledge and expertise in the healthcare field.
