A proud native of Jonestown, MS, Coley brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to this pivotal role, promising to elevate the college's sports culture and enhance information dissemination within the organization.

Jerome Coley is a distinguished alumnus of Coahoma Agricultural High School, where he graduated in 2017. As a standout athlete, he lettered in both football and track & field. His exceptional talents earned him the prestigious Hoss Bennet Award and MVP of his football team. Additionally, he secured a coveted spot on the 2017 Track & Field 2A All-State Team, underscoring his athletic prowess and commitment to excellence.

Coley's journey in sports and education continued at Delta State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding of the sports industry, he returned to Delta State to obtain a Master's degree in Sports Administration. Currently, Coley is pursuing an Education Specialist degree in Higher Education, demonstrating his relentless pursuit of knowledge and professional growth.

Beyond his academic achievements, Coley has accumulated three years of valuable experience as an educator within the Clarksdale Municipal and Coahoma County School Districts. He has taught Physical Education, Science, and Math, showcasing his commitment to fostering student engagement and achievement. His multifaceted expertise in education and sports has uniquely positioned him to excel in his new role at Coahoma Community College.

Prior to his appointment as SID, Coley made significant contributions as the Coordinator of Tutorial Services and Intramural Sports at Coahoma Community College. His leadership and organizational skills have been instrumental in enhancing student services and promoting a vibrant campus life. As a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi, he embodies the fraternity's values of leadership, community service, and achievement, further enriching the Coahoma community.

In his new capacity as Sports Information Director, Jerome Coley is excited to leverage his athletic background and educational experience to bring a new level of dynamism and professionalism to Coahoma Community College's sports programs.
